The MCAO Victim Services division consists of a diverse team of compassionate professionals that work closely with victims to ensure their rights are upheld. This team provides information, resources and referrals to support victims of crime. They offer specialized services to families, minors and adult crime victims of violent and non-violent offenses. MCAO staff work collaboratively to provide notifications, assist with restitution and Victim Compensation claims. They accompany victims to hearings, attend meetings and provide guidance and emotional support throughout the criminal justice process.
